Father's Day is Quickly Approaching!!

Father's Day is quickly approaching and will be here before you know it! So why not start planning a fun filled weekend for the dad in your life! over the next two weeks i'll be posting a lot a fun activities going on in the valley on Father's day weekend. So let's start off with an event the whole family will enjoy:

Prowl and Play at the Phoenix Zoo! This event lets you experience the Zoo in a whole new way....in the dark! This event offers unique and exciting activities, allowing you to explore, see and hear the Zoo differently than during a daytime visit. There will be activities for all ages, you can have the kids cool off at Leapin’ Lagoon or Yakulla Caverns, slide down the ever popular inflatable water slide! Adults (21 years old and older) may enjoy a cold beer or a glass of wine. Throughout the evening you’ll also enjoy animal encounters, activities, music and much more!!

Movies in the Park!!

Looking for something to do this weekend? Why not head out to an event everyone of all ages can enjoy! A movie in park is a great way to end a busy day. Best of all it's Free! There are a few movies in the park this weekend. There will be one in Maricopa at the Copper Sky Regional Park (44345 W Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Maricopa, AZ 85138). This movie night will be taking place on Saturday starting at 7pm. They will be showing A Dolphin's Tale.

Tempe is also having a movie in the park. Their's will be taking place in the north soccer field at Kiwanis Park, Mill Avenue and Baseline Road. They will be showing Peter Pan. This movie will be taking place on Friday at dusk (Approx 7pm).

Bring a lawn chair or blanket and come out and enjoy the fun!

JUST A REMINDER...

Looking for something to do this weekend? There is a lot going on around the valley this weekend! Here are just a few...

First is a Movie in the park! This Friday,5/16, they will be featuring Finding Nemo. Where do this take place? Pacana Park in Maricopa! Bring your own snacks and a blanket and enjoy the show. Snacks will also be available to purchase. All movies are free and begin at about 7 p.m.

Another big event this weekend is the Peach Festival at Schenpf's Farm!  Enjoy picking peaches, a Peachy Pancake Breakfast,  Hay Rides to the Orchards, Live Music, Train Rides, Peachy arts and crafts, and more things peach! This event takes place from 7:30am-4:00pm Saturday and Sunday with Free Admission!

In Addition to the already event filled weekend check out the Pet Expo on Saturday from 10am to 6pm in Phoenix. There will be more than 130 exhibitors will be in attendance with products and services for dogs, cats, ferrets, parrots, and horses, too! No tickets are necessary. Both admission and parking are free.
